Definitely lighter than my last set. Some airline put a dent in the corner of one the airline sent my bag to two different countries on two different airlines before it got to me, but overall pleased with the purchase.I bought this item as a gift and the receiver loved it. They specially like that it was light and how much space each luggage has. The color (gold) was very beautiful too.The price was right and the quality looks good. Have a trip planned within the next few months, so will see how it holds up.They luggage's were nice and durable, however only the biggest size had the stretch compartment in-between the zippers for extra space which sucked I I wish all of them had it. Also I wish the size of the mediums suitcase was a little bigger. I dont know if was just putting too much stuff in their but the zipper also broke on one of my suitcases which was really annoyingThe beautiful colorNice rich color and very durable. Wheels move very nicely on any surface and rotate with ease. I love the three sizes and the color. The texture on the surface helps to protect it from scratches. Cases expand to give you a little more space if needed. Handles extend for easy pulling.
