I was able to try the companion shampoo and condition from the Denoue line. Both come in the same 10oz orange and white plastic pump. The shampoo was pretty average, but I did have to wash my hair a little earlier than usual because my oiliness came on sooner than expected. I think it may have had more to do with the companion use of the conditioner. For reference, I am in my 40's, a natural redhead. I don't use heat styling very often, or color-treat (yet), and my locks have always been thin, fine, and essentially flat and lifeless. My hair runs "normal" to oily if I go a couple of days without washing. I can prolong this with a good dry spray-on shampoo. No scalp concerns like dandruff or psoriasis. While acceptable for the thin, runny texture of the shampoo, the bottle design is all wrong for the conditioner. This thick white cream struggles to come out, gumming up the collar, the tube, the pump. The Denoue conditioner is just a hint too heavy for my hair type. It would likely be more suitable for someone with damaged, dry, or thicker hair, given the copious amount of hydration. It is also oil/herb heavy, ingredient-wise.
